Joris Rijsdijk

I grew up in Dordrecht, studied computer science at TU Delft, and ended up staying in Delft to work on a PhD where I research and apply radiance fields to real-world use cases.
I am advised by Dr. Ricardo Marroquim and Prof. Dr. Elmar Eisemann. I am funded by NWO (Dutch Research Council).

Outside the lab
I like to play various instruments such as piano, guitar and drums. Sometimes I post a song on my SoundCloud. I also like to be active, primarily by going to the gym, swimming and hiking. I try to write about things I find genuinely interesting or fun on my blog.
